If you ever get the chance to attend a Peruvian festival, especially one closer to the Andes, it can get quite cold out there, not to mention your main mode of transportation is on the back of a motorcycle. In this post, we’ll discuss some practical outfits you can wear to a Peruvian Fiesta. These will keep you warm, but won’t tie you up too much that you can’t dance and enjoy the party.
These outfits provide layers and comfort. While perhaps not as cute as some of the festival outfits you see around during some of the more significant festivals in the USA, these festival outfits are more suitable for riding around on motorcycles all day and dancing well into the night.
While you’re here, remember to check out our recommendations page for our fav travel essentials. Including, but not limited to – sunscreen, because the farther you get from the gray skies in Lima, the more you’re going to need it!
Note: Details about the pieces worn in each outfit are below. In some cases where pieces were out of stock, I’ve linked to a similar option when available. Often these pieces have been in my closet for years and/or were thrifted, so info may not be available.

Outfit #One
A fun dress is always a great option for festival nights! To add warmth, layer with leggings and a couple sweatshirts. (I’m not kidding, I was wearing a couple of sweatshirts.) Statement boots and fun makeup are great additions to bring any outfit to life!
Fit details:
- Boots
- Sweater
- Dress was bought in PerΓΊ from a local store at Gamarra
- Cat hat is from Benji and Frankie’s Shop
Outfit #Two
An all-denim look is a must for your festival outfits.
Head-to-toe denim, a statement shoe, and a beanie look great and are warm enough to get you through the cold festival activities. It’s the perfect matchy, matchy outfit without being too girly or manly for either of your tastes.
10/10 would recommend.

Outfit #Three
Monochromatic outfits are a great go-to festival look! Consider adding boots, a fun scarf, and definitely a hat! Here, the sun is always shining. Almost everyone wears a big hat during the day to protect themselves from the golden sunlight. Sunscreen is a must-pack item for these Peruvian festivals!

- Boots
- Overalls are something I made, you could make something similar following this self-drafted overalls tutorial
Outfit #Four
A pair of loose overalls make perfect festival outfits! Style them up or down with a simple sweatshirt underneath, a large hat, boots, and your favorite jacket.
For extra warmth, wear some leggings underneath. Believe it or not, under this outfit I actually managed to fit an extra layer of pants for added warmth!
Remember to have fun with your makeup and hair!

Outfit #Five
Style a simple jacket and black jeans with a fun beanie, boots, and some cute makeup! On some festival nights, you really need to dress more casually because the event is more about dancing and drinking than anything else.
This may not look like much, but that night was freezing. I wore a shirt and two hoodies just to stay warm!
